Proform Hybrid Trainer Pro Review: Top Recumbent Bike Under $750
Gym memberships are expensive and many of us would rather invest that money into a piece of equipment we can use over and over. The down side to this is that you can’t buy the whole gym unless you won the lottery.
The good news? The ProForm Hybrid Pro lets you invest in two machines for the price of one. The Hybrid Trainer Pro is both an elliptical trainer and recumbent bike in one. This provides two different types of low impact cardiovascular exercise in just one machine.
More than this, ProForm Hybrid Trainer Pro is also equipped with the latest innovations in technology to help make the most out of any workout. Here’s a closer look at what you can expect from this innovative gym equipment.

Not for you if:
“My husband had no problem putting it together. We opened the large box outside and unpacked it and brought everything in a couple of pieces at a time. An excellent exercise machine. We love it. It is very quiet and very smooth. The electronic readout is not back lit, but is very visible in good lighting. The elliptical foot pads and moving handle bars are perfect. The seat is very comfortable, and at perfect angles. The bar with the electronics, stationary handlebars, and cup and tablet holder can be unscrewed and re-positioned when using it as a recumbent bike. You just loosen the big red knob and it comes down into place, so you can read the screen while pedaling. To pedal, you just have to raise the the foot bars with the gray pads. Is very simple and easy…”

Is it a yay or a nay for this piece of workout equipment? I would say that it has some good things to offer. For one, you can’t beat the price you pay for what is technically two different machines. It may be a bit big, but it works well since you cut down to one workout piece. Plus, I really like the optional subscription workouts that you can opt to buy.
Despite the setback on assembly (you can always opt for professional assembly for a fee anyway), I would say it’s a good deal. It you’re worried about stride length you can always check how well it will work for you at an actual store before clicking on the checkout button.
